Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms before buying or watching educational videos on our website.
These terms apply alongside your rights under South African consumer law.
01.About this website
Juffrou Minett provides educational video lessons through this website. The service is intended for use by parents, guardians, educators and other adults arranging learning activities for children. An adult should supervise children's use of the service.
02.Accounts and accurate information
You may need an account to buy or view lessons. Please provide accurate information, keep your password private and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, except where the law provides otherwise.
03.Prices, orders and payment
Prices are displayed in South African rand (ZAR). The checkout process shows the price before you submit an order. Where EFT payment is offered, follow the displayed payment instructions and submit proof of payment if requested. Proof of payment is not itself confirmation that funds have cleared. Access may be activated after payment is verified and the order is approved.
04.Access to purchased videos
A purchase provides personal, non-transferable online viewing access to the purchased lesson for the access period displayed at purchase. The viewing period starts on first playback, where the product specifies this. If both English and Afrikaans recordings are available and enabled for that lesson, the purchase covers both recordings under the same viewing period. Availability of a recording may change for technical or rights-related reasons; please contact support if a recording you purchased becomes inaccessible.
05.Digital content, cancellations and refunds
Digital lessons are supplied electronically and are not physical products. Requests to cancel or obtain a refund will be assessed under applicable South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act and Electronic Communications and Transactions Act where applicable. Nothing in these terms removes statutory rights or remedies. Contact us with your order details if content is unavailable, defective, incorrectly supplied or you wish to request a cancellation or refund.
06.Permitted use and copyright
Videos, artwork, teaching materials, logos and website content are protected by intellectual property rights. Purchased access is for private educational viewing only unless we expressly agree otherwise. Do not copy, record, download, redistribute, resell, publicly screen, share access credentials or bypass video security controls without permission or a legal right to do so.
07.Service availability
We aim to keep lessons accessible but maintenance, internet connectivity and third-party hosting can affect playback. If a technical problem prevents access during a paid viewing period, contact us so we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy where required by law.
08.Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will not retroactively remove rights already acquired through a purchase. These terms are governed by South African law, subject to applicable mandatory consumer protections.
